Questions, answered
Do I need to connect my wallet?+
No. PerpXray only reads public data from Hyperliquid's API using the address you paste. We never ask for signatures, private keys or API wallets, and we can't place trades.
How far back does the analysis go?+
As far as Hyperliquid's public API allows. Very active accounts may only have their most recent history available; the dashboard always shows exactly which period was analyzed and flags positions that were opened before it.
Why do some insights say “low confidence”?+
We only make a recommendation when there are enough trades behind it and the pattern holds up when we resample your history. Small samples are labeled so you don't over-react to noise.
Is my data stored?+
We keep a copy of the public Hyperliquid trade history for addresses that have been analysed, so the next analysis only fetches new trades and stays within Hyperliquid's rate limits. It is deleted after 30 days without an analysis. There are no accounts, and we never store anything that isn't already public on Hyperliquid.
Which markets are covered?+
All perpetual markets, including HIP-3 builder-deployed perps. Spot fills are counted but excluded from trade analytics, because spot balances also move through transfers.
